When you first install Ability Mail Server, you will be given a 30 day trial to decide whether the software suits your needs before purchasing a license. This trial will have all features enabled and will operate in Enterprise mode. After the 30 days have passed, the software will continue to run in a limited freeware mode. If you want more features than available in the freeware mode, you must purchase a license key. For more information on the available features in each license, please view the Features page.
A valid license is made from a single license key and each license key can only be installed on a single computer. Each license allows access to one of three possible editions: Lite, Professional or Enterprise. Only the Enterprise edition has all available features enabled and with unlimited users and domains.
